Initially I found the service in Google search through an ad banner. I went to read reviews on Yandex and Google, saw that on the maps there is only 1 point in Phuket and it's some kind of ATM. And the reviews are all 5 stars. There are photos, instructions, a website and everything seems to look nice, but it seems that making a website isn’t that hard, reviews can be bought along with photos. I decided to check it myself anyway (because I needed baht and the only thing to exchange was rubles on a card from a Russian bank). I checked, exchanged 5000 baht and everything works smoothly, maybe I'll use them again during my trip, since this time was a test for me. Special thanks to manager Stanislav for the help (I learned the manager’s name in the messenger after the exchange was completed). Upd: exchanged a second time for a larger amount, everything also went smoothly and at a rate not very different from the bank rate.

FAQ

How can I send money to Kenya with payout in KES through ATM24?

To send money to Kenya with payout in KES through ATM24, choose whether the recipient should receive funds by M-Pesa, bank account, or supported card route. ATM24 checks Equity Bank, KCB Bank Kenya, or the selected channel, then confirms the KES amount, fee from 0.9%, and timing before payment. Bank-route examples for Kenya: Equity Bank, KCB Bank Kenya, Co-operative Bank of Kenya, NCBA Bank Kenya, and Absa Bank Kenya.

Can the recipient receive a transfer on a card or bank account in Kenya in KES?

In Kenya, a KES payout can be checked for a bank card, bank account, or M-Pesa route where available. ATM24 reviews the recipient's name, phone or bank details, and the route through Equity Bank, KCB Bank Kenya, or the selected service before payment. Bank payout and M-Pesa are not treated as the same channel. Bank-route examples for Kenya: Equity Bank, KCB Bank Kenya, Co-operative Bank of Kenya, NCBA Bank Kenya, and Absa Bank Kenya.

Which banks can receive a transfer to Kenya in KES?

For Kenya, KES payouts can be checked through Equity Bank, KCB Bank Kenya, Co-operative Bank, NCBA, Absa Bank Kenya, or M-Pesa where available. ATM24 treats M-Pesa as a separate phone-based route. The recipient bank or service is confirmed before payment.

What recipient details are needed to send money to Kenya in KES?

For a KES transfer to Kenya, details depend on M-Pesa, Equity Bank, KCB Bank Kenya, card payout, or account payout. M-Pesa needs phone data; bank routes need account or card details and recipient name. ATM24 confirms the KES route before payment. Bank-route examples for Kenya: Equity Bank, KCB Bank Kenya, Co-operative Bank of Kenya, NCBA Bank Kenya, and Absa Bank Kenya.

How long does a money transfer to Kenya in KES take?

A KES transfer to Kenya can start from 15 minutes after ATM24 checks M-Pesa, Equity Bank, KCB Bank Kenya, card, or account payout. Phone-number routes and bank-account routes may clear differently. The manager confirms timing before payment. Bank-route examples for Kenya: Equity Bank, KCB Bank Kenya, Co-operative Bank of Kenya, NCBA Bank Kenya, and Absa Bank Kenya.

What is the fee for sending money to Kenya with payout in KES?

For Kenya, the ATM24 fee for a KES transfer starts from 0.9% and is calculated after choosing bank payout, card payout, or M-Pesa. Equity Bank, KCB Bank Kenya, and M-Pesa are checked differently, so the recipient's final KES amount is confirmed before the sender pays. External card or sending-bank fees are not included in the ATM24 fee. Bank-route examples for Kenya: Equity Bank, KCB Bank Kenya, Co-operative Bank of Kenya, NCBA Bank Kenya, and Absa Bank Kenya.

Can I pay by international card, bank transfer, or USDT while the recipient receives KES in Kenya?

Yes, the sender can use an available payment method while the recipient receives KES in Kenya. ATM24 checks whether payout should go to M-Pesa, Equity Bank, KCB Bank Kenya, or a supported card route before payment. International-card issuer charges, bank-transfer fees, and USDT network costs are shown separately from the ATM24 calculation when they apply. Bank-route examples for Kenya: Equity Bank, KCB Bank Kenya, Co-operative Bank of Kenya, NCBA Bank Kenya, and Absa Bank Kenya.

What is the minimum and maximum transfer amount to Kenya in KES?

ATM24 starts KES transfers to Kenya from 100 USD or the equivalent. The maximum amount depends on whether the recipient uses M-Pesa, a bank account, or a supported card route. For large KES payouts, the manager checks the channel limit, recipient details, and document requirements before payment. Bank-route examples for Kenya: Equity Bank, KCB Bank Kenya, Co-operative Bank of Kenya, NCBA Bank Kenya, and Absa Bank Kenya.

What documents are needed for a large transfer to Kenya in KES?

For a large KES transfer to Kenya, ATM24 checks whether the recipient uses M-Pesa, Equity Bank, KCB Bank Kenya, card payout, or account payout. Documents may include sender ID, source-of-funds information, recipient phone or bank data, and payment purpose. The manager confirms the KES route limit before payment. Bank-route examples for Kenya: Equity Bank, KCB Bank Kenya, Co-operative Bank of Kenya, NCBA Bank Kenya, and Absa Bank Kenya.

How much will the recipient get in KES if I send 1000 USD to Kenya?

For a 1000 USD transfer to Kenya, the KES payout is calculated differently for M-Pesa, Equity Bank, KCB Bank Kenya, card payout, or account payout: 122 845 KES. ATM24 checks the channel limit, fee from 0.9%, and exchange conditions. The manager confirms the final KES amount before payment. Bank-route examples for Kenya: Equity Bank, KCB Bank Kenya, Co-operative Bank of Kenya, NCBA Bank Kenya, and Absa Bank Kenya.

What should I do if a money transfer to Kenya in KES is delayed?

If a KES transfer to Kenya is delayed, contact ATM24 with the order number and say whether the route is M-Pesa, Equity Bank, KCB Bank Kenya, card, or account payout. The manager checks phone or bank data, sender payment, and route limit. Do not resend the KES payment until the status is clear. Bank-route examples for Kenya: Equity Bank, KCB Bank Kenya, Co-operative Bank of Kenya, NCBA Bank Kenya, and Absa Bank Kenya.

Can I send money to Kenya in KES if SWIFT is unavailable or the bank rejects the transfer?

If a KES transfer to Kenya is rejected, ATM24 checks whether the failed route was M-Pesa, Equity Bank, KCB Bank Kenya, card, or account payout. The manager reviews phone number, bank data, amount, and KES limit before changing the route. ATM24 can offer M-Pesa, a bank payout, or a supported card route where available. Bank-route examples for Kenya: Equity Bank, KCB Bank Kenya, Co-operative Bank of Kenya, NCBA Bank Kenya, and Absa Bank Kenya.

Can the recipient receive KES without a bank account?

The recipient can receive KES in Kenya without a bank account if an M-Pesa or other non-bank route is available for the amount. ATM24 checks the phone number, recipient name, KES limit, and route availability before payment. If M-Pesa is not suitable, the manager can review card payout or a bank route separately. Bank-route examples for Kenya: Equity Bank, KCB Bank Kenya, Co-operative Bank of Kenya, NCBA Bank Kenya, and Absa Bank Kenya.

How does ATM24 check a transfer to Kenya with payout in KES?

ATM24 verifies a KES transfer to Kenya by checking whether the payout goes to M-Pesa, a bank account, or a supported card route. The manager reviews Equity Bank, KCB Bank Kenya, the phone number or bank details, and the recipient name before payment. The KES amount, fee, and timing are confirmed only after that route check. Bank-route examples for Kenya: Equity Bank, KCB Bank Kenya, Co-operative Bank of Kenya, NCBA Bank Kenya, and Absa Bank Kenya.

Can I send money to Kenya through M-Pesa with payout in KES?

For Kenya, ATM24 can review an M-Pesa route when the recipient wants KES by phone number rather than a bank account. The manager checks the Kenyan recipient phone, name match, route limit, fee from 0.9%, and final KES amount before payment. Equity Bank and KCB Bank Kenya are treated as separate bank routes, not as the same M-Pesa payout.
