Dram, bank cards and digital wallets
AMD (Armenian dram) is Armenia's national currency with a regulated foreign exchange market. The Russian ruble remains one of the most demanded foreign currencies in Armenia and is widely available at exchange points in Yerevan. Bank account details
For transfers to a bank account, you will need the account number and the recipient bank's SWIFT/BIC; IBAN format is not used in Armenia's banking system.
